Variety: Pinot Noir, Syrah
The Canihan family grows Pinot Noir, Syrah and Cabernet Franc on their 20 acre property on the Sonoma Coast. The Canihan’s were inspired to plant their vineyard by family member, August Sieguist, who had sustainably farmed Pinot Noir and other cool climate varieties in his native Switzerland before immigrating to the United States in the early 1900s. The vineyard is located in the Southern Sonoma Coast, bordering on Los Carneros, and benefits from cool evening breezes and fog. The vines are certified organic and dry farmed, and produce low yields with great flavor.
